The water heater in this home was subject to failure as the bottom blew out and flooded the basement. The water cascaded out of the storage room and into the adjoining walls and carpeting. The home owners contacted Cityline Construction to handle the damage restoration.
Our crews arrived on site and began remediation of the affected rooms. The waterlogged walls required partial replacement and were subsequently torn out. Afterwards the carpeting was stripped and treated. When the water heater was removed the extent of the explosion was quite visible.
The restoration continues in this home along with the installation of the new water heater. We will update this article with completed photos when they are available.
